Red onions are a staple in our house. I put them in just about everything, salads, sandwiches, burgers, tacos, cooked dishes, you name it. My husband likes them just as much, so thankfully onion breath is considered a shared household problem. 😂 The ones I get from Walmart are generally firm, fresh, and have that good sharp red-onion flavor I'm looking for. They keep well when stored properly and are one of those groceries I automatically replace before we run out. Nothing exotic or complicated here. It's a good, dependable red onion, and apparently my cooking would collapse without one in the kitchen.

Purple Onions are NOT your regular Onion taste

i use to only buy the yellow onions until my son was here and brought over one of these onions to cook with. The flavor in these onions are completely different then just regular onions. It doesnt give off that bitter sour taste nor smells. Its adds a subtle taste to your dish and brings out more of your flavor in the dish your creating instead of saying "Hi" im onions! Which alot of people would say, Oh i hate onions! This one they will think its another vegetable. Try it!

purple onions ars my absolute favorite! they go great on everything! italion to mexian! to american food! it is great on anything and everything! these onions always seem to preserve for a long time as well. i leave them in a dark crisper and they last a while and thays if they last that long. lol. they are such a good health benefit too. they are soo good for our skin and system. so i recommend these for anyone and on anything!
