New Balance 550 Men's Sneakers, White/Burgundy/Turquoise, Size 9.5

I bought these for work because I needed something all black. I usually purchase New balance because they're a little more comfortable. It's the first time I've purchased the 550. I usually wear shoes from the 800 series. When the 550s arrived I was very surprised by how heavy they were. They are a sturdy shoe with a thick rubber sole. The shoes don't have much bend in them. I'd say they feel almost like a low top boot. I've only worn them for a few weeks, but the shoe seems like it will last quite a while with heavy use. I'm pretty happy with the performance of the shoe, however I wish they were a little more comfortable.

Good solid shoe, which is what you expect from New Balance. While I like it, I LOVE the 520's, a little more support and comfort in the 520.
