Great looks, fit, price but hard to dry

An amazing cotton knit beret for $1.99 plus shipping from Walmart ! The seller is excellent, described the item accurately! Shipping time was 10 days, which is reasonable for a low-cost item from China. This is a 100% cotton knit beret, seller advises to wash by hand and not to dry clean. The beret is surprisingly nice, looks simply lovely!! The fit is comfortable, more yielding and less structured than a wool beret, excellent for covering a lot of hair or bulkier hairdos. The beret feels cool and airy even in hot weather! The downside is drying after washing! It takes more than 1 cycle to dry in the dryer, even at the hottest setting. It did not shrink. For knit berets now, I would only opt for fast-drying yarn materials or blends. But if drying isn't an issue for you, I would definitely recommend it because of looks, fit and comfort. If you have sensitivities, a natural, hypoallergenic fiber like cotton is a plus!
