This soundbar is amazing. I wish I got it last year. I hooked it up to a 50" TCL tv with the optical cable that was included. Plug soundbar %26 subwoofer in. Turn it on %26 download the Yamaha control app. The app finds the soundbar hit update. Then on the app hook up Alexa. It's simple. The remote has a seperate volume control to add more bass for music videos. It's great. Almost forgot...on your tv settings go to audio %26 click on optical if you used the optical cable to hook it up. When I set it on auto it did not work. A good thing to know...occasionaly the Yamaha app will kick off the optical %26 the soundbar will not work. Just open the app %26 click on the tv icon. The remote at the top has to be clicked on tv button for optical connection to work. Definitely buy this. It has theatre sound %26 a clear voice button if you are hard of hearing. If this yamaha yas209 with sub has another one that includes wireless speakers for a few dollars more get that one %26 the sound would be even more perfect. The DTS X virtual surround sound works very well with the optical cable without needing an HDMI arc cable. Highly recommend.
