Total Interior New Car Smell

I tried everything to get a really bad smell out of our car, finally what did the trick was spraying this on all the carpet and wiping it like you would if you were spot cleaning, including in the trunk and using 2 cans of the air freshener cans that you set off with the air running on high. The car still smells new a month later. The smell was horrible, it turned out that while at a friend's apartment my son had offered to take the trash as he left. The trash collection is at the front of that complex. He put it in the trunk, it had leaked into the carpet. Like I said the smell was really bad. I really did try everything. In the end this with 2 cans of aid fresh bombs did the trick. Thank goodness because I was about to lose my mind. 😵‍💫
