After reading other comments, i'm super careful with the lid. But honestly, i probably used this thing almost every day for the last year. It makes amazing yogurt (i use the sous vide setting because the yogurt setting doesn't have temp adjustment). Amazing for soups - Make a bone broth under pressure, then saute veggies and slow cook. I make awesome lunch meat with it - Sous vide then broil. it's not really useful as an air fryer, other than to cook a roast of some sort. Can't fit a lot in it to air fry. The seal, and pan need to be 100% clean to obtain pressure - I made that mistake once. But haven't had any problems after figuring that out. I do wish the seal came out to clean it. It's a great little device. I've gotten way more than my money's worth out of it in just a year.
