Men's Winter Fleece Thermal Water Resistant Skiing Work Gloves Mittens with Zipped Pocket Navy

Was looking for a pair of warm, basic, ski type gloves -mostly for shovelling snow- while keeping my hands warm. Ordered the navy first, then these gray ones as a second backup pair. They are a tent like ripstop nylon that are lined. -30 is stamped onto the straps, though think someone wouldn't want to test that out for very long. My hands stayed warm while shoveling in teen temps (F) The gray is a little darker than appears online: a dark charcoal -almost black. All of their gloves offered through Walmart are MEN'S size medium. They fit like a women's large, which are slightly loose on me (women's medium). I could layer a pair of those cheap stretchy knit gloves underneath for extra warmth or a pair of hand warmer inserts. There is a strap with Velcro backing at the wrists to adjust the closure to keep snow or cold from getting in. The grippers on the palm side and on the bottom side of the fingers, which help to hang onto a shovel handle, etc, and keep from slipping. My phone doesn't slip out of my gloves The top/back of the gloves each have a heavy duty zippered pocket to store a key fob, credit card, Kleenex, etc, but not big enough for a phone My mom liked this gray back up pair, so am now ordering a second pair of those for myself and giving this pair to her. Hopefully I will get to keep this pair, as inventory is now low and might not get to reorder of those are gifted too! They would probably be too small for someone with large hands They are not waterproof, so would get cold fast if slushy or snow melts on them. Perspiration can make the lining damp, too, when active outside. Wish Walmart would sell these in their stores, in a variety of colors and sizes. If around the $10-$12 price point, they would sell out! Even with the (just under a week) wait time for shipping from NY, these are the best gloves for the money that I have found for outdoor Midwest US casual use.
