Definitely adequate for a betta

set up was easy enough and just the right size for my son's betta. He used to have a .7gal tank and would just sit there. Now he swims all around and seems more content. Good enough for beginners to be able to put together; I didn't read the instructions, just put it together. the filtration system would be more adequate with some activated charcoal but it's been doing its thing. I like that it has the flow control for the air intake, makes it so the water isn't pushing the fish every which way lol

Not impressed with pump/filteration

First off I'm not impressed with the pump-filter. It's not easily installed and the filter isn't carbon so I'm not sure how that's going to work. I've never seen a filter like this and I have 9 different aquariums. Hopefully I will be able to find replacement filters if needed. Instructions don't say if this is a washable filter. The lid doesn't detach from the unit so filling and setting up and probably cleaning is more challenging. The tank itself doesn't sit flat, it wobbles from one corner to the opposing corner. I had to put a small piece of cardboard under one corner. There's no small opening for feeding so you have to lift the lid. After getting it set up it has pleasing look. I am going to give it a try and hopefully it will work out.
