This is not solar or battery light, it is AC powered and required to be hardwired to the junction box (standard 4.5 inch).
Please make sure the motion sensor faces the person when mounted on the eave/soffit, and we suggest mounting on the wall. Assemble the light on an object with a height ranging from 1 - 4 m (3.2 - 13.1 ft). The optimal installation height is 2.4 m (7.87 ft).
If the light is set to Auto/D2D mode and keeps flashing. Please adjust the LUX knob a little higher until the light stops flashing(the suggested position is halfway).
