Key item features

  • Runner Dimensions: Power-loomed SAFAVIEH runner, 2'6" x 6' in Marble/Khaki. Features 0.3-inch pile height; dimensions may slightly vary.
  • Natural Material: Constructed from 100% tightly woven Seagrass, offering a natural, rich texture. Suits transitional, coastal, and farmhouse decor styles.
  • Latex Backing: Includes latex backing; a separate rug pad is recommended to prevent shifting, enhancing stability on floors.
  • Cleaning Care: Vacuum regularly (avoiding beater bars) and spot clean spills. Professional cleaning is advised for stubborn stains.
  • Wear Protection: Rotate rug every 3-6 months to prevent uneven wear. Use protectors under heavy furniture, avoiding flattening piles.
  • Sunlight Caution: Avoid direct sunlight exposure, which causes color fading. Position rug away from windows whenever possible.
  • Initial Creases: Temporary creases from packing will gradually recede. Back-rolling the rug fastest flattens them.
  • Carpet Placement: For carpet-to-carpet use, placing a hold pad between is recommended for protection and settling.

Perfect!

Perfect! Have rug under kitchen table with chairs that roll. Was nervous the chairs wouldn't roll smoothly but this is perfect. Chairs roll easily! The rug is not extra thick, pretty thin with non slide backing but looks very durable! I'm sure the fibers will wear out eventually but for the price I paid I can just buy another one down the road.

reply from SAFAVIEH Product Expert

Sorry to hear about the smell. New rugs can sometimes have a temporary odor from packaging and materials, but it usually fades after a few days. We recommend letting it air out in a well-ventilated space. If it doesn’t improve, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!
