If you can't get or afford fresh, this isn't bad.

Not as good as fresh, but when cooked in Asian dishes, they're useful. I'll never use fake crabmeat. Some reported it's bland tasting. I think it varies from can to can. Texture is better than most, being more lump crabmeat than others. Since I'm in Tennessee it's hard (and extremely expensive to get fresh crabmeat) This satisfies my palette for Asian seafood dishes.

Closest to fresh as you can get …

I was very skeptical of canned crab but then I thought to myself, you eat tuna, sardines and mackerels from a can all the time so why not try this. I'm glad to say I was not disappointed. It tasted fresh and after cooking did not get me or my family ill or anything of the sort. Of course nothing beats the Oceanside catch right out of the sea but who has the time? Anyways It did its job well. No hassle of prepping even. It's now one of my go to ingredient.

I don't feed my kit ten or my pup commercial pet food, haven't had good results with that. I feed my kitten this produce and she loves it, will seldom eat anything else. If your looking for a better option, check it out and see what your kitten thinks.
