Mobil 1 ESP X2 Full Synthetic Motor Oil 0W-20, 5 Quart-DIESEL DEXOS D is not only compatible with DEXOS 2, but rather supersedes the previous DEXOS 2 specification for diesel engines. Dexos D is GM's newest standard specifically for modern, light-duty diesel engines like the Chevy Equinox 1.6L- also Diesel Cruze and Terrain, 3.0L Duramax, and replaces Dexos 2, which is no longer suitable for use in these newer engines. While Dexos 2 was initially for GM diesels, it was later updated to Dexos D to reduce confusion, meaning you must use the appropriate Dexos D-certified oil for your vehicle.

I did check very carefully, all the different 0W-20 brands for an oil that met the specs of 'VW 805 00', which my 2025 auto calls for, to no avail.
