It's worth it!

While the price point is a bit high (I do not have a big budget), this set is absolutely worth it. The mechanics are fantastic—it brilliantly replicates the Polaroid's functionality, and the working shutter is incredibly satisfying to use. For the overall build and mechanical play experience, it's right on par with the Grand Piano (21323) and holds together much better than the Typewriter (21327). I love the scale and the vibrant colored bricks. The exposed studs and slight gaps at the end of the build don't bother me; it retains that classic LEGO charm. Just note that the slanted walls can pop off if younger kids handle it roughly, and it would be an awesome functional upgrade if you could load all three pictures at once.

Revisiting my Childhood!

My dad owned a OneStep back in the 70s. This was a revolutionary product back in the day. The build felt so familiar because of that experience. I used the Builder app all the way. It helps to rotate some of the views when putting this together. I spent roughly four hours putting it together; I didn't want to rush such a fun build. The back end is a little fragile but is thankfully easy to put back together. I only wish there was a way to expose the mechanicals so that others can appreciate how it operates. This thing is brilliant.

Fun build

I collect vintage cameras so I like to mix the Lego cameras in with the real. I have an art pic that matches this Polaroid . Camera is a solid build. No hollow insides. Very pleased with the looks of this and like the little pics that were included.
