Bought this because we wanted another bed for guests, but didn't want to sacrifice the entire room. It is a good compromise. We almost thought we would have to return this - the instructions and design - are not the best. Several of the reviews I read prior to purchasing said "easy" - I'm not sure I would go that far. We had to disassemble and re-assemble at several points because things weren't clear. Additionally, in some cases we had to make our own drill holes because there weren't any holes and/or they were in the wrong spot. We followed instructions exactly and the bed wouldn't fold closed - we had to drill new holes so one piece was at the correct height to allow it to fold over. Regardless, we figured it out and I think it will work well for what we want it for. It's not a luxurious bed, but for guests, especially kids - it'll be great.
