The Andersons Green Shocker 7-1-2 Fertilizer with Humic DG 17 lb Bag

Not only is the % ratio on point, I cannot buy fertilizer anywhere, and I mean anywhere, with the fine, fine granules that Anderson's has. Why does it matter??? Best I can explain, imagine seasoning one steak with one tablespoon of pepper that is really coarsely ground. If it's really coarsely ground meaning large pieces, you will not be able to season your steak evenly as you can with a finer grind. Same amount of pepper, but instead of one piece here and another piece there, many smaller pieces dispersed evenly over the same area. Hope this makes sense. Anderson fertilizers have a much, much finer/uniform grind which produces amazing results. Anderson is the one, no other. Case closed.

I can't talk on this product when used alone for a green up, but I can say when used in conjunction with a slow release fertilizer, it works great. Slow release was put out 3 weeks ago, and this was the result after 2 days. I make sure I cut the grass every 2-3 days and have a solid watering schedule. I put the 7-1-2 out closer to the 4.5lbs/1000sqft rate 3 weeks after the slow release was put out, and it gave it a deep green. Front yard picture is after a fresh cut, and backyard is before a cut. If you don't have the time to be on a 2-3 day mowing schedule, I wouldn't use it in conjunction with anything else. You would be better off putting out iron alone, because this did push a good bit of growth over 2 days, but again, I used it in conjunction with a slow release
