A must for Mille Lacs Lake

I've spent many years fishing summer Walleyes on Mille Lacs after dark. This is a must for nigh bobber fishing. It rides well in waves and has a nice width to stay up in the water. It allows you to see the light clearly and you can see it underwater as well as it's going down. I use the 5" and Walleyes between 16" and 30" never seem to feel it go down. If you're using something else for a lighted bobber, give this a try.

These could be world class if they were a little bigger

As slip bobbers go this has a nice design, and can be seen from a long distance away especially at night, they are very bright. The only problem friends and I have with these bobbers is they are small and have trouble staying visible and floating above the surface with a 1/4 oz sinker, anymore weight than that and they are gone. Anyone I know that is bobber fishing uses 3/8 - 1 oz sinkers to get their bait down to the depth the fish are at. If you don't have enough weight at your leader end, the leader will tangle up with your main-line, or your bait will almost never get to the desired depth. There is almost nothing worse than seeing your bobber stop and corky sitting on the water surface half way between you and the bobber, because there is not enough weight to pull the main-line through the bobber. Please make these in a bigger size, and get rid of the spring.
