The blanket is as described and pictured. it am sure this wpuldnt hold up to lots of washes, but i ordered a cover for it, and hope that the weighted blanket won't need to be washed often. It was just as warm as a 20lb blanket I got previously, so my thoughts of being able to use this one in the summer are dashed, but it was a good value for the sale price I got.

The quality of the blanket is worth the price. I paid $64.99. It's slightly too heavy for me, but that's just me. I weigh 160 lbs. I recommend this or the 12 lb blanket if you think that better suits you. I sleep better with the blanket. I would recommend keeping your bedroom cooler while using this blanket.
