About this item

Product details

The Yamaha Stage Custom Birch 5-Piece Shell Pack provides drummers with a foundation of rich, resonant sound. Featuring 100 percent birch shells, the Stage Custom Birch generates warm, full tones with outstanding projection. Yamaha's Air Seal System and staggered diagonal seams produce shells that are perfectly round and of uniform thickness for consistency and durability. Low-mass lugs allow the shells to vibrate freely, resulting in impressive sustain and resonance. A high-gloss lacquer finish protects the shells while highlighting their beautiful grain.

100 Percent Birch Shells for Warm, Balanced Tone

The Stage Custom Birch's 100 percent birch shells provide the ideal blend of warmth, focus and resonance. Birch generates a balanced tone that projects fully while retaining rich lows and crisp highs. These all-birch shells give drummers a versatile sound suitable for any musical style or performance setting.

Advanced Shell Construction Maximizes Sound

Yamaha employs innovative techniques to craft the Stage Custom Birch's shells. The Air Seal System uses air pressure to seal seams for uniform thickness and roundness, which optimizes the shells' tonal potential. Staggered diagonal seams further strengthen the shells while allowing them to resonate freely. These construction methods result in shells with ideal shape and thickness for producing premium, professional-level tone.

Premium Hardware Provides Solid Foundation

The Stage Custom Birch features high-quality hardware for reliable performance. Low-mass lugs minimize contact with the shells, enabling maximum sustain and resonance. All drum hardware is constructed from steel for durability. A lacquer finish gives the entire shell pack an attractive glossy sheen while protecting the wood.

Complete 5-Piece Shell Pack for Versatile Playing

The Stage Custom Birch includes a 22" bass drum, 10" and 12" rack toms, 16" floor tom and 14" snare drum. This versatile 5-piece configuration provides drummers with a full set of premium birch shells for playing any musical style. Cymbals and drum stool sold separately.
