Very pleased with the Gorilla bath mat. This mat doesn't slip on the tub surface and you don't slip on it. Nice heavy quality and it's washable (easiest if you have an agitator free washing machine). The smell was not bad, but to allow it to off-gas completely, when I received it I let it air out outside for several days, and then put it in the washer for a cold gentle wash cycle. Off-gassing is gone. I would purchase this again.

I am so glad I purchased this. My husband has parkinson's. This mat helps him from slipping when he gets in the tub. I put a stool in the tub for him to sit on while bathing. He can easily stand with this mat in place. Afterwards I just place it over the stool the dry.
