Key item features

  • STAYS BUBBLE-DRY ALL DAY: Every seam is fully sealed and 100% waterproof, so puddles, rain showers, wet grass, and slushy snow stay on the outside where they belong. Whether your child is splashing through puddles, hiking with the family, or playing recess after a downpour, this rain suit keeps them dry from neckline to ankles for hours of confident outdoor play.
  • DUAL FRONT ZIPPERS FOR QUICK CHANGES: Two heavy-duty front zippers run the length of the suit so you can get a wriggling toddler in or out in seconds — no pulled hair, no stuck arms, no meltdowns. Ideal for daycare drop-offs, park trips, and changing out of muddy gear at the car before climbing into a clean seat
  • BUILT TO TAKE A BEATING: Reinforced with extra-heavyweight nylon across the seat and knees — the two zones kids destroy first — this suit is engineered for sliding, kneeling, climbing, and crawling on rough surfaces. Outlasts cheaper rain gear that tears after a few weekends, making it a smart long-term buy for active children
  • SEALED-IN WARMTH AT EVERY OPENING: An elasticized hood with a built-in brim sheds water away from the face, while elasticized wrist and ankle cuffs stretch comfortably over mittens and boots to block drafts, rain, and snow from sneaking in. Total coverage means total comfort, even in wind and wet conditions
  • ROOMY FIT FOR EASY LAYERING & MOVEMENT: Cut generously so kids can layer fleece, sweatshirts, or snow gear underneath without feeling restricted — they can run, jump, climb, and play freely. Please size by your child's weight (see size chart); the chart shows the child's body measurements, not the garment, so they grow into the comfort, not out of it.
  • The item is designed to be loose fitting in order to accommodate clothing underneath and freedom of movement.

Our Toddler Loves His Muddy Buddy!

This was the third purchase of the Muddy Buddy. Our little one needs weather gear at preschool, and these are easy to bring home to wash on the weekend and return on Monday!
