gate was easy to install, i like that it has a tool to tighten the adjustable collars on the sides. This makes it easier to get tighter, other styles are generally just finger tightened. The lift to open style is newer to me, any others i have use a button and slide latch. The gate has been working well to allow the cats to pass through and keep the dogs out of the area.
