Great Router, awesome gaming experience!

The Linksys WRT32X Gaming Router for XBOX is perfect for gamers of Xbox and windows users. I installed this quite easily. Make sure you follow the directions exactly although they are simple. Note that this router will connect to your existing modem router, dsl modem or cable modem. This router does not have a modem installed internally so it will not stand alone. In the box you will have the router, ac adapter, Ethernet cord (although I do recommend a sturdier one), 4 antennas, a code for 3 months of XBOX game pass, a regulatory and warranty booklet, and a quick start guide. If you have a modem router like I do, leave it connected. You will connect the Linksys router to it. If you have a router and modem separate, you may remove the router and use the Linksys with your cable or DSL modem. Once you connect your device, you will use the address listed in your start up guide to configure the rest of your wireless settings. It's basically giving it a new name and pass-code and registering your device. I am really impressed with the speed this router adds to my gaming experience and the quality of videos I can play. The size of this router is 9.5"wide, 8" deep, and 5" tall from the base to top of antenna, so you will want to make sure you sit in a place where it will have plenty of room and air flow. The lights on the front indicate power, internet, 2.4G, 5.0G, USB1, USB2 and the 4 ports where you can connect additional devices. The units lights will light up blue unless there is an issue such as no internet. It will an amber colored light. You can find the manual and troubleshooter on Linksys website by typing in the name of the product. Overall, I am very happy with this router and I do recommend for the serious gamer.

Super awesome and works pretty good to better gami

I recently got this Linksys WRT32X Wi-Fi Gaming Router Designed for Xbox for my son. He is totally into technology and gaming and uses his xbox probably daily for hours. But with 4 plus people in the house, using wifi for phones, tablets, streaming TV and movies and playing games, we needed something like this for him. This is super cool and works really well. It looks sleek and modernized and is super innovative for his xbox one. So what it does is automatically recognizes the xbox one signal then fixes the wifi to make sure it works for the xbox one and reduces lag and issues with the wifi so the xbox one can perform at it's best. Perfect for gamers. So when you set it up, you'll see that there are ports for ethernet cords, internet cord, USB port, and an eSARA/USB port. It also has an adapter that plugs into it then into the wall and has 4 little antennae for recognizing the signal. What is super awesome, that I love, is that it has more safety features like encryption to keep our wifi connection safer from disconnection. Plus the guide is really helpful when it comes to setup and install. My son is super happy with it. He could play his xbox for hours but it's not as fast when my daughters are on their tablets and I'm streaming Netflix. Now though, he doesn't even notice that anyone else is using their tech devices because of it's high speed processing. It really does work great. This is super high tech and was made for xbox ones. He is happy so I am happy. Plus on the package was a sticker that said you qualify for 3 months free with an Xbox Game Pass! Super cool. I did get to try this for free but the opinions here are my own.

Linksys WRT32X Wi-Fi Gaming Router for Xbox

I set this up for my son to use for his Xbox cause he games a lot. He noticed that playing online has been a lot smoother for his internet matches, and his downloading and streaming is faster. I would recommend this for anyone with a child who games.
