Key item features

  • Two-Swivel Buffer Spring Design: The dog cable with an additional spring absorbing the shock, and a buffer spring at the end for protection of the dog's neck. It will avoid the danger to pets when they are shocked.
  • High Quality 30 Ft Cable: The 30 Ft tie-out cable has been rigorously quality tested. We use PVC coating which wraps the rugged steel wire to prevent the pet from rubbing and hurting. Prevent cracking and rust-proof.
  • Durable Stainless Steel Stake: 16.5" spiral stake with 9 mm solid steel construction. Suitable for dogs up to 120lbs. The upper handle is wrapped in plastic to help protect the hand. An O ring can rotate 360°, so dogs move more freely.
  • Rubber Sheath and Wire Rope: Covered with weather-resistant poly-vinyl coating, our steel cable is rust-proof and will not hurt your hand. Unlike other metal traction ropes, it will not get stuck in your dog's fur. Has high tensile strength and impact toughness. Good corrosion resistance will be reliable to use.
  • High-Strength Metal Buckles: Stainless steel collar buckle design, can adapt to various collars. Easily attached to a collar or stake. Protect pet neck well.

I used it in the summer so I don't know how it does in the snow and ice. I did leave it out and the sprinkers hit it about 3 or 4 times a week so it did start to get traces of rust on it but not bad considering. I purchased the exact length I needed. I walked the longest part of my yard off and ordered off that measurement and it worked like a charm. My dog could wander the whole back yard and almost to the alley and up to the back door. I have a weiner-chi mix and so the cable was plenty big for my breed of dog and I didn't have to worry about him being aggressive while being on it. I will say that by my side was where he prefers to be so being on the cable wasn't his favorite thing but it was an initiative to have him potty so he could get back in again
