McCormick Gourmet Organic Italian Seasoning, 0.55 oz Bottle

I love Italian seasoning and I was excited when I got an offer from BzzAgent to try Organic Italian seasonings from McCormick Gourmet (thank you McCormick Gourmet). I use seasoning in all my cooking and Italian seasonings are one of my favorite. This seasoning is organic, free of unnecessary ingredients and smell so fresh. I tried in omelet first. A little goes a long way. I didn't need to add a lot to get the taste and flavor I wanted. I also tried it on stir fried vegetables and results were great. I can taste the seasoning without overpowering the taste of vegetables. I'm happy that I was given the chance to try this seasoning from McCormick Gourmet. I cook a lot, so I'm always paying attention to the quality of the ingredients I use and looking for simple ways to add great flavor to homemade meals. McCormick Organic Gourmet Italian Seasoning really impressed me. I first tried it in chicken cacciatore and used the recommended 1 teaspoon, which was exactly right. It gave the dish a savory, well-rounded flavor without overpowering the other ingredients. The aroma is fragrant and fresh, and I especially noticed the sage. It was one of those little "aha" moments that made me appreciate the blend even more. The texture is also a big deal to me. Some dried herb blends are ground so finely that they almost look like a brown, crumbly powder. This one is completely different. You can actually see the pieces of sage and rosemary through the clear glass bottle, and the shaker holes are large enough for the herbs to come through easily. It feels like you're actually getting real herbs rather than a dusty seasoning blend. I also love that it comes in a glass container. I try to be mindful about what I put into my body and make healthy, good-quality food a priority, so I appreciate thoughtful packaging as well as quality ingredients. As a cancer survivor, those choices are especially important to me. I can already see myself reaching for this whenever I'm cooking Italian dishes. I'm planning to use it next on my homemade focaccia and in salad dressings, and it has me thinking about new recipes I want to try. When a seasoning inspires you to cook more, eat well, and experiment in the kitchen, that's a winner in my book. I would absolutely buy this again.
