Size does not match measurement chart

The quality is great but the sizing chart on the web site is off. It states that a L (large) measures between 23 - 23 1/2 inches. That is supposed to be on the inside of hat where you are fitting to your head. This measures 22 inches so it does not fit. I contacted the company and requested they measure the inside of a XL so I know that the hat will fit. I do not even think they read all my note to them as they wrote back and said they sent the right hat, A LARGE. Very disappointing.
