Simrad 000-12397-001 StructureScan 3D Module

While the functionality of this product suits its purpose(showing structure), it could easily be better. There is little to no literature on the colored fish dots that show up on screen. What does the color mean, big fish? small fish? The colors change with every palette. I find myself having to use an actual sonar screen along side so I know if there's actual fish below me or if its just chatter, prop wash, garbage in the water etc. An easy way to fix this would be a software update to overlay fish arches from regular sonar. The new FishReveal would be beneficial here, no more useless fish dots, arches please!
