These were ordered for newborn to 6 months old. They do fit a newborn with more than enough room up to 6 months depending on baby's size. I have had 4 kids and this was purchased for 1 st grandchild. These gowns I love due to easy change of diapers for resting parents. It was always hard 30 yrs ago placing babies in and out of clothing when you are recovering and getting use to new set up with child.
