We wanted to get our grandson this Gladiator because we had a Gladiator. It's so cute and he loved it but I should've read the reviews before purchasing. The on/off, high/low speed buttons are located on the right side, where the passenger sits. So my 16 month old that rides in the passenger side keeps pressing the buttons. Also, the jeep keeps cutting off. It will run a few min, then turn off. He will have to push the button to start again. I have contacted the company and they are quick to respond. They are sending a new battery, which I don't think is the problem. There were many reviews about this. If I had to purchase again, I would go with the brand Power Wheels. My daughter just forwarded me the link to purchase and I didn't read the reviews. I will update my review once the company makes it right.

first time out with my 40 lb son, it shut off while going through the grass. I called the company that manufactured this Jeep Gladiator, and I was told it is not designed for the grass. it is only designed for concrete I understand that would make sense if this was a Corvette or some sort of car model, but this is a Jeep model and they should have spent more time in design ensuring that it had enough torque to pull itself through the grass. 100% would not recommend this unit unless it's 100% going to always be on concrete
