As disappointed as I am that the price has doubled, I still enjoy this sweet potato pie. I'm the only one in the household who eats it, so purchases are few and far between. Although the price gets a thumbs down, the spices are still there. At least they have not changed the recipe for the filling. Every few bites, there are miniscule chunks of sweet potato. And yes, they use sweet potatoes and not some imposter. One step I would recommend is cooking the pie in the oven. Doing so crisps the edges and firms up the top of the pie.

This sweet potato pie was truly delicious… I make them homemade, my grandmother from South Georgia always made them homemade… This pie was extremely delicious with no effort… I will still continue to make my pies but in a pinch… This one is perfect. The crust was absolutely amazing you could tell it was not your typical store-bought crust… It was wonderful
