Great for frosting!

Gel food colorings are superior when dying frosting. You get vibrant colors so much easier. Orange is a difficult color to create with food coloring drops, but I was able to make a beautiful orange frosting for Dragonball Z inspired cupcakes that didn't look washed out or pastel. I mixed the red and yellow together really effectively, but I've seen that this brand also sells the atypical food colors and has a set that includes orange. I would absolutely buy this again and also get the additional colors.
