Return spring failure is a common problem with this type of switch. The "spring" is a rubber cup that is prone to fail. You can either: - pull the button out manually - take the switch apart and replace the cup spring with a pen spring - replace the switch. The replacement job itself took less than 30 minutes. After removing the panel under the steering column and moving the instrument bezel, the entire instrument group pulls out easily. Then you lift the retaining clips off the switch and it comes right out. Easy Peasy
