This Emerson Smart Set I found to be reasonably priced and excellent quality for a clock radio I have purchased previously. My time zone is EST. I plugged it in. I only had to set the radio station and it plays very clear. Automatically it flashed through the time, day of week, time zone and date. The LED shows bright. If it is as good as my previous Emerson Smart Set, it takes a lot of hard falls.

This clock is absolutely great. The instructions are easy to understand and the best function is that it resets itself after a power outage or if it's accidentally unplugged, I have not utilized the alarm function yet but I'm sure I will have no problems.
