Stopped working after one year of use

Overall the computer use was awesome to start off with. I was able use the 1 year free Microsoft trial. The computer was in good use up until a year of use. All of a sudden the screen turned black. The power button was on and the charge light was also on but the display was black and there was no indication of it was on. Ex ( when you turn your laptop on, the keyboard light will turn on or you'll hear a soft noise that the computer is running) stopped after a year. Looked on google on how to fix the problem and it seemed to be a common issue with other HP users. I would suggest to do your own research on the best computer brand. Also get the protection plan!

i got duped.

haven't even had the laptop a whole month and im already having issues with it. it doesny respond when i select a command for it to complete. the internet works fine on all my devices in my home except my lap top. not happy wity my purchase at all. feels like it was a waste. the system won't even allow me to download zoom and that's all i needed it for so i can do my workouts in the morning. i like the color and size. thats about it.
