Well made, but heavy treated with chemicals

I'll get this carpet back: When I opened the bag, the smell was very bad. The carpet is beautiful and well made, I wanted to keep it. However, shortly after I unpacked it, I developed a bad rush on my hands. t's made in India - a country with very high humidity. So, as I learned from this experience, every carpet made there for export is heavily treated with fungicides. I still give it 3 stars since the rug is beautiful. However, it's wool and there is no way to wash it from the chemicals it treated with.
