[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wearing the Levi's 501 original high-rise shorts for a while now and they've become one of those pieces I keep reaching for. The denim has a nice weight to it not too heavy but substantial enough to feel durable and premium compared to shorts. I also appreciate how well they hold up after washing the shape stays consistent. The denim doesn't feel flimsy and they still keep that classic structured look where after where . Style-wise they're incredibly versatile and have that effortless vintage vibe that works with pretty much anything. The pockets are actually functional, which is always a plus. They're deep enough for small essentials without looking bulky. The high-rise waistband is probably my favorite feature, it sits comfortably at the waist, feel secure throughout the day and creates a really flattering silhouette without digging in since the denim has very little stretch. They may feel a bit stiff at first, but that's also what helps them maintain their shapes so well. Overall, they strike a balance between comfort, durability and timeless style
