Very sturdy, GRAY, look great
Acacia wood, so will last forever--very hard wood. The latter means they're also somewhat painful to put together--demand elbow grease. Keep in mind ""brown"" for some reason means gray--and this isn't the only website where that's true. We wanted gray for our modern porch, so that worked. As others have noted, because of the modern design (straight back, flat seat, not curved), you definitely want cushions. Also because of the modern design, these have shorter backs, so you can't put your head back against the slats. We found the rocker tended to smooth out after a month or so, and the higher seat is great if you're not a spring chicken. Finally, we left these outdoors all year in our west-facing NC screened-in porch, and they survived the winter without a blip. Great chairs.

Notasnice as pic online & wood - rough texture
Bought two of these chairs for my 3 season porch. Wasn't as nice as pictured online. Needed to give a light sanding to smooth rough seats and arm rests. Will Need to purchase thin cushions to make area behind knees more comfortable. Anything thicker than 2 inches would not work with this product.
