My daughter loves skateboarding , riding her bicycle and using her scooter. The thing is my daughter is very clumsy . She tends to always either break things or fall . I'm always worried for her safety when skateboarding especially. So since she loves the color black and I love her safety I order her this Protective Gear. The first thing I love about this protective gear is everything comes in a small pouch bag. That way it's easier is she needs to carry her gear around . The quality of this material is great, it's very strong. Not only is the material great and it will last a great while it's very stretchy and completely comfortable to wear. I love that the material it's stretchable so it fits her just right. The padding is great very sturdy. You don't have to worried about the pads breaking or cracking. The straps to adjust the pads are aslo made of greag material and very easy to adjust. I love that it protects your knees, elbows and wrists. Now when my daughter goes skateboarding or riding her bike I'm more at peace. Since it's made of great material and great padding, I'm less worried about her getting hurt. She herself feels more secure and comfortable when wearing her protected wear. Even though this protective wear says it's for adults it fits my 13 years old daughter, who weights around 130 lbs. I'm so glad and pleased with this order, it gives me a peace of mind. First I have to say that even though these are adult size, I have my 9 year son wear them because they are so much better than other youth/kid versions for so many reasons. So I would consider these for larger youth and adults. To me these are FULL protection pads and great for my son when he is on his razor board, scooter, or skateboard. The kids version of “pads” usually just have straps that hold the pad against the elbow or knee, and those straps can be irritating and abrasive after a while. These have a “sleeve” on both the elbow and knee pads so you have to “slip into” them, THEN secure in place with the straps. So the straps are not against the skin. The pads themselves seem more heavy duty since they are designed for an adult, but they are still super lightweight. They are very durable and sturdy. We really like how well they protect his hands and they offer more coverage than the kids versions you find. You can see in the picture the protection offered on the underside of the hand, which is where you would normally catch yourself when falling. The wrist pads have a durable “splint” that offers protection and rigidity on both the top and bottom. My son thinks the arm/hand pieces are so cool, he wears them just when playing. My daughter wants a set too. We think this set is fabulous and has zero flaws. I recommend these for adults and youth.
