Easy assembly

My cat likes this scratching post! Actually scratches on the rope-covered post and she frequently lays on the base which is very soft. It was very easy to assemble. Note that although the picture shows one solid post, the post was actually two pieces that fitted together with a carpeted piece in between. All parts were supplied including an Allen wrench to tighten the base. Took less than five minutes to assemble using the small diagram provided. It's sturdy and well made; would buy again.
