Shams look pretty and material appear to have a satin type finish on them. They look great until you are up close and touch them. Material is on the thin side, but since they are for decoration and not use, they should be fine. If they were going to be washed weekly, I would return them because I don't think they would hold up to that kind of use. They will be fine for what I want. They were quite wrinkled out of the package but all it took was a few minutes in the dryer with a damp towel and they came out perfect. (My lazy way to steam items, LOL)

The shams look perfect on my new quilt. I looked all over for those shams but Walmart was the only place I found them.
