Reformulation ruined my skin

The reformulation is absolutely horrible. I went from having crystal clear skin to horribly red, cracking, inflamed skin with a terrible breakout that would not improve. I have been using this for years and will never purchase another Olay product. 6 months later, my skin is still not back the way it was and I only used the reformulated product for a month. Bring back the version without niacinamide and HA, everyone hates this.

TERRIBLE reformulation

The new formula is TERRIBLE. I reordered last month and received the new formula and it burns skin and causes break outs now. DO NOT use this garbage. I had to switch to cetaphil after 30 years .

Disappointed after decades

Please bring back the true original. You have so many other products, why mess with something that has lasted for decades. I had been using everyday for over 45 years and now I am at a loss. Struggling to find an alternative. I can not tell you the complements I received over the years as to my skin care and what I used. Always was just the Original Olay of Olay. I have tried your other products and I just can't. I am so upset with this. Yes, change is inevitable, but why why why on something that worked!

We truly appreciate your incredible 45+ years of loyalty to Olay, and we’re so sorry to hear how disappointed you are with the changes to your beloved Original Olay. We understand how meaningful it is to have a product that has been part of your daily skincare routine for so many years, especially when you’ve seen such wonderful results and received compliments over the decades. Olay Active Hydrating Skin Cream has a new formula, and we understand that even a change made with care can be difficult when you’ve loved the original for so long. Your feedback about wanting the true original back is incredibly valuable, and we’ll be sure to share your comments with our team. We’d also love the opportunity to learn more about your experience. Please give us a call (800) 652-9261.
