This product did exactly what I expected

I knew that I needed a way to connect my monitor to my desktop. I have a VGA port on the back of my monitor (male) and a HDMI port(female) on the back of my Desktop tower. This cable allows me to send audio and video data from a HDMI source(female) to a VGA port(male) on a monitor. It is not designed to allow the reverse process (transfer of video and audio data )when used in reverse order : ( EXAMPLE: If your laptop or desktop has a VGA port (male), and your monitor has a HDMI input port (female), then you will NOT be able to send Video and Audio data to your monitor with this cable. This is clearly mentioned in ad and on packaging.

I was told to get this cord then I could bring something up on my tv to watch. This was perfect. It worked. Easy to order from Wal-Mart. Cheaper from Wal-Mart. I have always had my things sent to my home. This time I sent to pick up at Wal-Mart. This was so easy. I just had to have ID.
