Great Value Frozen Catfish Skinless Fillets, 2 lb Bag

The size of these catfish fillets are large; great portions. I usually eat 2/3 of mine and save the rest for 1-2 fish sliders on Hawaiian buns the next day! I marinade them in buttermilk with 1-3 shakes of cayenne pepper and then coat with either Jiffy cornbread mix and fry or same marinade and then put flour in a bag with a few shakes of Blue Hogs seasoning for chicken (yes- chicken - it's great on fish too - says so on the label) and both ways are sooo tasty fried on these fillets. Grilled with Blue Hogs for Chicken is great also. So excited Walmart carries Blue Hogs rubs and seasonings now. Had to order direct from man who made them decades ago!! These catfish fillets are great and leftovers (if any) are also good as fish tacos the next day in a flour burrito with a little coleslaw added. Great Walmart protein!

These fillets are the perfect size. I'm not a fan of most fish fillets but this is a real good purchase. As soon as you open the bag, you can smell the freshness. However the real proof comes out in the cooking. Bad fish will linger both frozen or cooked however good fish with the right spices is a great meal.
