Triple Tree Black Coffee Manual Grinder

A manual grinder takes a little longer to prepare the beans for brewing. It seemed like it was going to be a hassle. For small batches, it's no more trouble than an electric grinder. One advantage this grinder has is a glass catch basin. Static electricity is not an issue and neither is clean up. It seems to be well made. The coffee tastes as good or better than from the electric grinder. Even though there is an electric grinder available, most of the time I grind the coffee in the Triple Tree manual grinder.

This coffee grinder works well and is reasonably easy clean-up (which I appreciate). The key thing is to keep track of all the pieces when you're cleaning and make sure things are reassembled in order, but that's not much of an issue once you get the hang of it. Yes, it's a little time-consuming to grind coffee beans with something like this (especially if you do a really fine grind), but if you want to have a good coffee grinder without the loud racket of an electric grinder then you can't go wrong with this one. I did have to get a replacement for my first one (due to manufacturer error the turning knob kept popping off the handle), but getting in touch with the company that makes these meant the issue was easily and quickly resolved. All it took was a brief email conversation with pictures to show what was going on and I got a free replacement not long after. I haven't had any issues since. I'd give it a 10/10 for a manual coffee grinder.
