Want No Holes?

In your boat, that is. Then this item is the fix. Certainly, it is not as secure as a stationary rod holder assembly but I have no fear of losing my gear in the water. The clamp fits quite well in the coaming groove of my Aspire 105 kayak and only requires occasional re-tightening due to transport and storage of my yak. It is an excellent alternative to a permanent installation.

when I ordered it I thought the whole thing was included to hold the rod but we had to buy an attachment to put in this piece. When I looked up this piece it didn't even show the other part I needed. Should make that a little clearer.
