Exceeding hard. Nutritional value rake 6/10.

Since I don't eat this myself %26 my cats seem to like it as they both eat it up. My 4 y/o cats doesn't chew her food well and throws it up every few days. I adopted her and one of her off spring when they were 2 %26 3 y/o %26 they are only now becoming friendly I can't look to see the condition of all her teeth. I have tried to pulverize it with my Ninja Food Processor, which has 2 layers of large razor sharp blades, with some success. It requires the addition of 1 cup of water per 2 1/2 cups this food. I ran it on Puree and it did a pretty good job after 4 -5 mins. That makes me understand why my 4 1/2 year old cat has difficulty chewing. It makes me question what they do to create such an incredibly hard product and how it manages to maintain any nutritional value. Since my cats seem to like it I'll continue to serve it up until It runs out. For GENERAL INFO I've included these alternatives. Cat.com gives a this food 6/10 for species appropriateness / ingredient quality 8/10 Price * BEST BUDGET FRIENDLY Solid Gold High Protein Dry Cat Food - $50 for 12 lbs. * OVERALL BEST DRY FirstMate Chicken Meal with Blueberries Formula - $50 for 10 lbs. * BEST PREMIUM Open Farm RawMix Open Prairie Recipe - $6.50 per lbs - $52 for 8 lbs. * FOR KITTENS Tiki Cat Born Carnivore Deboned Chicken %26 Egg Recipe - $40 for 5.6 lbs. On their site they include BEST OPTIONS FOR: Sensitive Stomach / Seniors / For Picky Eaters ( I didn't know there was any other kind.) / Freeze Dried / Chicken Free / Air-Dried They're a great source of INFO ON -Cat Health / Cat Behavior ( like the Relaxed, sleepy stare with slow blinking is a top sign of affection in cats) / Cat Weight Calculator / Etc!!

Cat approved flavor, mom approved ingredients

I bought this food when I had two cats and both of my picky eaters loved it. Hairballs are always an issue around here especially with a long haired cat and his sister loves to help clean him too so they both need food of the hairball variety. I love that the ingredients are always top notch with blue. I feel better when I know the food I'm giving them is quality.

My cat loves the taste, and it's easy to digest with a great texture and smell.

My cat really enjoys this food. The texture is great, and it has a pleasant smell. It seems easy to digest, and cleanup is simple. I've also noticed good behavior and no stomach issues after eating it. Overall, a great choice.
