Two cents

In response to Brandi's review: I think the review is shortsighted, particularly the statement about asking someone with autism about their views or preferences since a large percentage of autistic individuals are NONVERBAL. If Brandi is offended by this symbol, she has a right to her opinion. However, what she cannot do is speak on behalf of all autistic individuals. The fact that she believes all within the population possess a high level of expressive and receptive language skills speaks to her lack of true understanding of the autism spectrum (speaking as a parent of two adults on the spectrum, an educator and advocate of almost 30 years). People, do your own research and make your own choices.
