Scoop: Each day remove all urine and solid waste clumps from the litter box with a litter scoop. Dispose of waste in trash receptacle. Refresh: Add Special Kitty Scoopable Tight Clumping Cat Litter, Fresh Scent as needed to maintain the litter at least 3 inches deep. If scooped daily, the remaining clean litter will not need to be discarded.

Compared to other more expensive litter, this sand is just as good and less costly. It has some dust, but not more than the costly brand sand, and thou I'd prefer non-scented sand, the scented Special Kitty sand is not overwhelming and just gently detectable, and I appreciate there's no baking soda in it, which actually makes for more dust. Clumps well. So the SK brand saves me a lot of money, which is important as I'm a senior and I'm caring for 10 rescued kitty kids, and to keep us, home and them clean and healthy I clean their poopie-boxes 2x per day. Is a lot of work, but with getting quality inexpensive products is worth it.

Cats Love It Better Than The Expensive Litters!
I love this litter for my cats. Not only is it cost efficient, but it is also a great value overall. In the beginning, we used the more expensive pellets with the Febreze system, but after a while, it was clear that one of our cats was rebelling from using it. He began using the bathroom elsewhere so we decided we needed to make a change. We took a chance with this product and both of our cats have acclimated to it completely it clumps great and there is no smell whatsoever. We will definitely continue to buy this product.
