They love the designs that show through and the quality far surpasses any other brands I've bought. We don't have a problem at all with the velvet coming off onto the markers, and the cardboard is top quality as well. PLEASE don't stop making these wonderful velvet design books!

I sent the Magic Velvet Animal Scenes to two different sets of my grandchildren: The 7 yr.olds enjoyed coloring the pictures as much as the "almost 5" yr. olds. Coloring the pictures does not require any parental help and the children were intrigued to see the patterns that showed up. Now I will send them the Velvet Butterfly Scenes.
