It does a fantastic job at keeping us warm on cold nights. We live in warmer climate and do not put the heat one, this has been fantastic on those nights! It doesn't feel heavy and the pattern is beautiful! My husband is picky and really likes this as it doesn't feel like he's being suffocated when he's sleeping.
