POP TARTS ARE A QUICK SNACK. UNFORTUNATE THAT THEY QUIT PUTTING FILLING OUT TO THE EDGE OF THE DOUGH. I HAVE TO TRIM OFF THE DOUGH ALL THE WAY AROUND BEFORE WE EAT THEM. THE DOUGH ITSELF IS JUST GRAINY AND HAS A FLOUR TASTE. USE TO BUY POP TARTS A LOT, NOW ONLY BUY THE CHOCOLATE FLAVORED ONES SO THE DOUGH AT LEAST HAS A FLAVOR - STILL HAVE TO TRIM THEM.

I have a health condition that I have to keep track of how many total fat grams of everything that I eat. I'm only allowed 30 total grams of fat a day. Pop Tarts Frosted Strawberry has 4 grams of fat per pastry and makes a good snack or I can eat both pastries as a meal at 8 grams of fat. I recommend it for those who have a diseased gall bladder.

I'm sure these will kill you but the brown sugar pop tarts are and will always be the best toast, cut the back with a knife just a couple slices for the butter.
